Does the DMV require me to take the driver education?

Yes. If you are under the age of 18, the State of California requires you to complete drivers education in order to take the drivers test.

How can I get my Learner's Permit?

To get your Learner's Permit, you need to complete a driver's education course. When you pass the course, you will receive a Certificate of Completion. You can register to take the test here.

After you receive your Certificate of Completion, you will need to pass a written exam at the DMV.

I'm ready to start now. Can I?

Yes. You will have immediate access to our study materials and can take the test as soon as you are ready.

Can I take the test more than once?

Yes! You can take the test up to 3 times. If you fail all three tries, you can re-register for three more chances for a minimal fee of $30.

What about behind the wheel training?

If you sign up for behind the wheel training, you will be considered "simultaneously enrolled" and your certificate will be mailed to you along with instructions on how to contact the driving to make your appointment
 
We contract with a licensed and insured driving school to provide behind the wheel training. Right now, we only offer behind the wheel training to Santa Clara County and Placer County residents.

How will I receive my certificate?

If you enroll for online testing, your certificate will be mailed when you pass your test.
 
Your certificate will be mailed to you immediately if you register for Behind the Wheel Training.

Do I need to be a California resident to take part in your program?

Yes. You can take our online test from anywhere in the state. After you receive your Certificate of
Completion, contact a local driving school to complete the behind the wheel portion. If you live in Santa Clara County or Placer County, you can sign up for our behind the wheel option.
